More than 5,000 people, including President Trump, attended the roll-out of the Dreamliner 787-10 in North Charleston last week. The 787-10 is largest, most fuel-efficient of the Dreamliner planes and is capable of flying longer, non-stop routes.
Singapore Airlines will be the first customer to receive the new 787-10 and has already committed to purchasing 49 of the planes.
The plane will begin test flights in late February and its first delivery is scheduled for 2018.
