SC Aerospace is headed to the Paris Air Show!
We are packing our bags and preparing to jet off to Paris to represent South Carolina at the International Paris Air Show!
This year’s show will feature 2,115 international exhibitors, 139,000 trade visitors, 130,000 sq. meters of exhibition area and 150 aircraft performing flying displays and exhibitions. Presentations and exhibitions will cover topics spanning the aerospace and aviation industry, from airport equipment to aircraft materials to space, satellites and telecommunications.
Corporate representatives of the state’s aerospace cluster are carefully chosen from South Carolina’s more than 400 aerospace companies. SC Aerospace helped SCDOC’s International Strategy and Trade Division throughout the selection process by marketing the opportunity to the cluster and providing subject matter expertise to target several companies that should be included in the SC Pavilion.
South Carolina’s 2017 delegation will include representatives from four locally-based companies: TIGHITCO (North Charleston), FSC Cutting Tools (Greenville), Innegra Technologies (Greenville) and Zeus (Orangeburg). These companies will have the opportunity to conduct meetings with companies from all over the world to discuss the services they provide and new business opportunities.
Each of these four companies exemplifies some of the aerospace major assets within South Carolina. As a whole, the group presents a well-rounded look at the SC Aerospace cluster, both in product range and in geographic diversity within the state.
